Brace Face!

When I picked Connor up from school last Thursday he had a big grin on his face. A couple hours later here he is sporting his new metal mouth and by night he was in a lot of pain. I don't think he realized how sore his mouth would be. Now he is almost a week into having braces and is now starting to eat normally again. I hope he will realize one day how hard it was for his dad and I to scrounge up $4500.00 to get him braces. I almost wondered if we might not be able to do this for him but thankfully we made it happen even giving up the trip money that we had saved to go on a fifteen year anniversary trip this year. I had my braces on at Connors same age and I know that I am very grateful for my parents for sacrificing for me to have straight teeth. His orthodontist said that he would have them on for about 18-24 months so we will see how it goes! I sure do love this kid and even though he has some teenage attitude moments he really is a good kid and I appreciate him always willing to babysit his younger siblings for his dad and I when we need a date night. Last week he babysat so we could go to the Temple, it had been such a long time since we had been and it was so needed! So to my awesome son Connor Thank you! I Love you, Mom!

A White Christmas

A White Christmas it was but not as far as the snow was concerned. We had a great holiday spent with the kids and our loved ones. Santa brought each of the kids one present because he had given us money for our Disneyland trip last month. The kids didn't seem to care and Warren and I did get them each a couple of things.

Christmas this year was on a Sunday so first thing in the morning we got all dressed up and went to a 45 minute sacrament meeting at 9:00 am. I have to admit I didn't have the best attitude about going at first but that quickly changed when I reminded myself that the only way to truly honor my Savior would be to go to Sacrament and feel the spirit and think of him. Sacrament meeting was beautiful and the spirit was stronger than ever. I was so glad to have been there with my beautiful family!

Our annual Christmas photo,what a beautiful family I have! I'm so grateful for another year of miracles, trials, happiness, love, joy, family, peace, knowledge, testimony, hope, and so much more. My life is better with each and every friend and family member I know. I look forward to better times ahead but won't forget this year we leave behind. My heart is full with thankfullness and love for my Savior Jesus Christ. My Testimony is stronger than ever and I love the Gospel more than ever! I plan to live more in the moment and cherish each day I have! Eryn White :)

Brynlee's Jazz & Ballet Performance!

Brynlee is back at it again this year taking not only Jazz but also taking Ballet! She loves it as always and enjoys her cousin Kamille and her friends Kemry & Macee in her classes. Brynlee is such a beauty all done up and ready for her performance. This year I had to bribe her to smile during her performances with taking her to dinner afterwards. It worked for sure, she had the biggest smile while dancing, she can be such a grump sometimes so I had to do something. I love you Brynlee and hope you keep doing what you love!

Baylee's First Tumbling Performance!

Baylee had been in Tumbling for a couple of months now and she is doing exceptionally well for a little four year old. She is in the Kindergarten class and loves her teachers Rachael and Sarah! Baylee had her first performance this month at Hillcrest High School. She had lot's of people there to watch her and I was so proud of my little monkey! She is so close to getting her front walk over and then she will start learning back hand springs. She's so flexible and fun to watch I can't wait to see what she will figure out next to do with her little bendable body! Great Job Baylee!

Sacrament Singing Sisters....

I'm so proud of my two beautiful daughters who sang "Away in a Manger" in Sacrament Meeting on Sunday. They did such a good job and had lots of compliments from those who were there!
There's nothing better then listening too two sisters sing together, they make me so proud! Everyone giggled at the end of the song when Brynlee leaned over and said to Baylee ( not realizing that everyone could hear her in the microphone) " Get Down". It was pretty funny!

Friday the kids got out of school for Christmas break. The day was set aside for Crazy hair day! This is what my kiddos came up with, they had so much fun getting ready! I also went and helped with Brynlee's class party later that day. I did the left and right game with the kids and they loved it!

California/Disneyland Trip 2011

So finally after two years of planning, we went on our trip to Cali! The kids were so excited and had the time of there lives. We left on November 18th and stayed until November 26th. The first day was a Sunday so we decided to head to Huntington Beach. Carson and Brynlee always love to collect seashells and they again had a great time hunting for the prettiest ones. It was cold and windy and then the rain started in so our time there was cut short. It then rained all day long.

The hot tub is always a hit with my family. They even used the swimming pool a little bit which was beyond freezing, they are die hards my kiddos!

Here is our fun group: Warren's parents ( Dad is taking the picture), the Bettridges, and our family! We planned this trip with the White's and this is what we ended up with! My kids had so much fun spending time at Disneyland with their cousins and their grandparents, they will always remember this trip! Warren's parents had never been to Disneyland, so we had so much fun showing them around!

Funny story about this picture. We were dieing to meet Cinderella and from what we had heard she is so hard to find. Warren and I had split up with the kids earlier that day when I got a call from him from across the park that he had just stumbled across Cinderella. So I made him and the boys get in her line ( which is a little embarrassing considering that everyone in line is moms and little girls for the most part) and the girls and I got out of the line we were in and ran and I do mean ran across the park to hopefully get there in time to meet her. So as you can see we made it. We got her autograph and a picture with her and it was so worth it by the smiles on there sweet faces!

This picture is one of my favorites! I just love sleeping beauty! Thanks to my brother-in-law Dave we really got into character stalking this year. Brynlee decided the last day that we were there that she wanted an autograph book to get some characters autographs. By this time we had already met a few characters and even a few princesses. So my mission that day turned into getting her as many autographs as we could. We went from one place to the other and stood in line for most of the day. It was the best time for me just spending time with my girls and watching there eyes light up with every new princess that we met!

Me and my Love! Warren was a real trooper. He hates crowds and let me tell you there were a lot. He said he would never do a five day pass again to Disneyland but who knows maybe he will forget this experience in a couple years! My husband is the best ever, he even let me spend one day with my cousin Laura who took me to Santee Alley in downtown Los Angeles and we shopped the alley's. We had a great time, I bought a purse and some scarves and some jewelry!

Carson had a blast, he loved California Scream'n and I think his other favorite from the trip was the hot tub. He was the one every night harassing us all to go out there with him!

The other highlight of the trip for me was taking Baylee on her first roller coaster! She was scared at first but then she loved it! She begged and begged me to take her on it again the next day. The lines were ridiculous but she would not give in, we had to go on it again, and we did!

We spent a lot of time around the castle looking for princesses! Love my Girls!

Connor is such a mini Warren. He begged me the last two days not to make him go back to Disneyland. He had had enough of the crowds and just didn't care to go any more. So the last day the boys and Warren came to the park for maybe two or three hours and then went back to the hotel. The girls and I were troopers though, we stayed and watched the parade and the fireworks and then they make it snow. It's so magical with the music playing, I so cried!

So we were there over Thanksgiving and Warren's mom of course did not let us go with out. She cooked us a full on Thanksgiving meal in the hotel room. Yes, she is amazing! She cooked a turkey in a crock pot, we made mashed potato's, stuffing, gravy, we had a vegetable tray, cranberry sauce, a pumpkin pie, and rolls. It was great, we spent the day at Disneyland and then took a break and ate Thanksgiving Dinner and then went back to the parks for night fun. I think everyone needs to at least once experience Disneyland over a holiday, magical doesn't even cover it! As always I can't wait to go back!

It was like pulling teeth to get Connor to pose for this picture. I just love my two little football stars! They both are so fun to watch and I always look forward to each year when fall time rolls around and I can spend my weekends watching my boys play football!

Carson was a peewee this year and he played many positions. He played running back, corner, wide receiver, linebacker, and punter. Carson is more than obsessed with football, he even wakes up before school to watch the sports channel to catch up on who won from the night before. His coach had wonderful things to say about him like he played great defense, and he was a hard hitter. Great Job Carson!!

Connor was a midget this year and played mostly running back and some defensive end. Connor's team made it to playoffs but lost in the first round. His team did very well all season, Connor scored many touchdowns and extra points. He is so talented and can play every position if asked to! Connor's coach had great things to say about him, he said Connor is mostly quiet but one of the toughest kids he has ever coached. He also said Connor is a coaches dream! Connor had an amazing coach this year who expressed to all of us parents that he didn't coach to win but that he coached to help the boys turn into great men. I just love this, we need more coaches like coach Johnson! Great Job Connor!

The past few months have been so busy and it still isn't letting up. So my girlfriend Sarah and I were talking one day and decided yet again to combine our daughters birthday parties. With our schedules and their baptisms and such we did their party in the middle of October at Classic skating with a few of their close friends. It works out so great because they share the same friends and Sarah and I share the cost of the party and the girls just love the idea of having their parties together! These girls are just the cutest!

I started my day by hanging out at Baylee's preschool and watching her trick and treating through the high school.

We had such a fun night this year, I made some yummy food and some of my family came out and spent the evening with us. Here are my cute niece and nephew sporting their Halloween costumes, how precious! The day was long and fun and the reason for no pictures of Connor was he had football practice from 4:30-7:00 and when he got home he said his coach said no trick or treating because they have a play off game tomorrow and he didn't want them out late. I was surprised he was actually ok with it and he does have a sweet sister Baylee who was willing to share with him!

I had a cute little moment with Baylee yesterday. We were talking about my sister in law and how she was on her way to our house to pick up my nephew and Baylee wanted to know where she had been. I explained that she was leaving work. Baylee said moms work. I said yes some moms go to work. I could tell that she had never thought of this and it intrigued her. I then felt it necessary to tell her that I could go to work but her dad and I have agreed that I should stay home to take care of her and that we give up some things to do that but we sacrifice. I then told her that I do this because I love her so much and if I went to work then she would go to a babysitters and she wouldn't be able to go to preschool and tumbling in the day. After hearing this she got the biggest smile and ran across the room and jumped into my arms! IF I EVER NEEDED VALIDATION THAT WHAT I AM DOING IS RIGHT, I DON'T NEED IT ANY LONGER! I asked her if she was so happy and she said yes mommy and squeezed me so tight! I just love that she realized how lucky she is to have me stay home with her and give her all that she needs at this precious time in her life. Things have never been easy for us with having only one income, and of course I try to do little things to help bring in some money but I can say we have always gotten by and been very blessed as a family! I love my kids and I love my job of being their full time mommy!!

Brynlee's Baptism :)

Brynlee and her daddy! Warren was honored to baptize and confirm sweet Brynlee yesterday October 8, 2011. The day was crazy and perfect! Brynlee was just glowing!

This is a crappy picture but the only one I have of the three of us this day!

We had nine baptisms from our stake that day and three were from our ward. Brynlee was the last of the three from our ward to be baptized and it was just perfect because Connor had a football game that morning and rushed back to the church and walked in just as Bryn and Warren were stepping into the water. I feel like we were so blessed that day, I really wanted all of my children to be there for this special occasion. I love the smile on her face, so happy and excited for her daddy to baptize her!

How lucky are these two sweet girls growing up nine days apart and baptized on the same day just minutes apart! They were so excited to watch each other be baptized!

I am so proud of Brynlee and her choice to be baptized! I hope she always remembers this special day and all of the people that were there to support her. I can't believe that three of my children are now baptized and we now only have one to go! I am so grateful for this gospel and to be apart of this only true church on the earth. I hope my children will be strong and faithful and have Testimony's that grow stronger each day. We are so blessed as a family! Congratulations Brynlee, we love you mom and dad!

It's GREAT to be EIGHT!

Brynlee turned eight on September 28 and we finally celebrated it with family on Thursday. On her actual birthday Warren and I gave her her gift of an ipod speaker doc and a brand new set of scriptures with her name scribed on them. She loved them! She was so excited to also get some money for birthday because she is saving to buy a new bike! Brynlee is growing up so fast, we just adore her so much. She is so beautiful and loves fashion. Brynlee loves picking out outfits and accessories each day she gets ready. She has been doing her hair for awhile and does a pretty good job with it too. Brynlee is so smart and talented, she has lots of friends and enjoys taking dance each week! I love the times when Bryn takes her little sister under her wing and shows her how to do something or just plays with her. They can be so sweet together! Happy Birthday Brynny poo poo!

Baylee starts Preschool!!!

Last week my sweet baby girl started preschool down at the High School Kinderbeets. She has been loving it and acting so big with her backpack and all. She loves the teachers and is making new friends. I thought for sure that I would be emotional to send her on her first day but surprisingly I wasn't. I ran some errands and loved my time alone. This week she wanted to walk so we did and she thought that was the best. She comes home from school and is so excited to tell me everything that she did, I just love it! She is growing up so fast and constantly keeping me on my toes but I wouldn't trade these moments for anything! I am so blessed to be a stay at home mom, I just love my kids so much!!

Sunday I did my third primary program as primary president. It turned out great as always! My cute little Baylee got up at the beginning and sang a solo " Search, Ponder, and Pray". She has no fear at four years old. She got right up there and knocked it out of the park. I am so proud of her, and everyone came up after and told her how amazing she was! I wish we could have recorded it but since we can't I will have to pull out the video camera and have her sing it again here at home.

My brother Travis & Tayler & my sweet nephew Ryker. What a great two days we had first with the wedding dinner the night before. We all shared some fun stories or memories of the bride and groom. My story that I shared was how I used to dress Skyler up in my slips and dresses and put jewelry and crowns on him. I would even take pictures of him so there is evidence of this. I was twelve when Skyler was born and I was even in the delivery room to see him being born. I know crazy huh! The wedding day was great and everything was beautiful! I wish you both nothing but the best, love you guys!

My step-brother Colton returned home from his mission on Tuesday the 20th. We gathered at the airport to await his arrival. It was very emotional and so good to see him after two years. I'm so grateful for Colton's example and wish I could go to his homecoming this Sunday but it's my primary program and I need to be there. Welcome Home Colton!!

Connor's 13th Birthday!!

September 17th my first born son became a TEENAGER! I can't believe how fast he's grown up. This year his birthday fell on a Saturday and it was a busy day. We started the day off by going to his cousin's football game, after we all went to McDonald's. This is one of Connors favorite places to eat!

Connor then had a football game against Copper Hills. They won 28-0. It was a great game Connor scored a touchdown and three extra points! I also made his favorite cupcakes, chocolate with peanut butter frosting and gave them out to his football team after the game!

Then Connor had a party with seven of his friends. We went to Airborne Trampoline Arena and then fed the boys pizza and cupcakes. Connor was way excited for all his gifts and really loved the Utes t-shirt that his friend got him. Connor had recently switched over from being a BYU fan to being a Ute fan. Where did I go wrong with this child? All kidding aside Connor is such a good kid. He is at that age where he is testing the limit and getting a bit mouthy but overall he is a great son. He is so smart and talented and has lots of friends. His passion right now is obviously football, and he is really good at it! His coach says he runs through the line like a mac truck. ( His position this year his running back) Happy Birthday to my teenager, let the games begin!

Funny Nightmares!

So Baylee woke up early this morning crying hysterically. She came to my room and told me she had a nightmare. In between her sobbing she said that they wouldn't let her sing her song. It took me a minute to figure out what she was talking about. She continued to tell me that everyone was singing but they wouldn't let her do her song. Baylee is going to sing a solo in the primary program in a week and a half. Once I knew what she was talking about I comforted her and told her not to worry that she will get to sing her song real soon! She cried in my arms for a few minutes, she was so sad. How sweet is that, I can't believe that she dreampt of singing in the primary program. She is so excited and talks about it everyday and asks how many more weeks till I do my song mom. I love my Baylee boo so much!!

Baylee has been in Tumbling for about two months now and she is loving it! If you know her well then you know how flexible she is. She has been more than excelling in her class and they even moved her up to the Kindergarten class already! She is doing cartwheels, handstands, back walk-overs, tic-toc's, splits, and is now learning one-handed cartwheels, round-offs, and front walk-overs! They don't mess around there and the teachers are strict and very good at what they do. I was worried at first with how much I was going to have to pay but seeing all she has mastered so quickly, I definitely think it is more than worth it. She goes to class twice a week for one hour and has the best time! It's crazy to see how small she is compared to the other girls in her class. I love watching this cute little ball of energy bounce around and learn so many fun things, she is growing up so fast!

Thursday afternoon Baylee had Tumbling, I threw my keys on the front seat of the car and put her in the backseat and told her to start buckling up. I had some garbage to throw away so I ran to the backyard to throw it away when I heard my car start! I sprinted to the car freaking out to find Baylee in the front seat starting the car for me. How sweet right, no not when you are FOUR YEARS OLD! I told her it was naughty and that she could never do that again. All she could say in between crying was please don't tell my dad :( We can laugh about it now, but I'm now a little concerned with what she will be up to next! ( For everyone's information this picture was taken a couple days later. I didn't want her to think this was something funny)

Middle School here I come...

Connor HATES his picture taken, but it's a special moment for me to have my baby in Middle School now! I can't believe how fast time goes by. He is so independent and rides his bike everyday to school and back by himself. He has lots of football friends in his classes and is enjoying his schedule so far at Eastmont Middle. He is taking the usual classes and even Spanish. I love this kid so much and am so proud of who he is and where he is going. It scares me to think that he will be driving in a few years but until then we will enjoy these precious years ahead!

Baylee walked up to Connor and asked," Connor will you please have a picnic with me?" Connor quickly answered," No." I could see the heartbreak from the look on her face, so I begged Connor to go along with it. Being the good boy that he is he told her Yes. She was so excited and ran to get the picnic basket and food and began to set up their picnic. Hesitantly, Connor obliged and sat with Baylee pretending to have a picnic. I was watching this go down and couldn't help but take a picture of this sweet precious moment! I smile every time I look at this picture because I know how hard it was for Connor to follow through with this. And then to see the pure joy on Baylee's face that her big brother was having a picnic with her just makes me melt :)

Last Hoorah!

We've been busy trying to fit in a few more adventures before school starts. We spent an afternoon at Daybreak Lake and had a picnic and played in the water. The kids had a great time trying to catch fish with dog poop bags. This week we found a great deal for Planet Play and spent an afternoon there as well. This is a favorite of all the kids and they lived it up as always! I can't believe that the kids have to go back to school on Monday and that the chaos is starting back up again. We have had the best time with our friends and spent the summer making wonderful memories! I love my Kids!!!

Investing in our Marriage!

Last weekend we took off for a long over due weekend without the kids. We left Friday morning and first stopped at Lagoon for a day of excitement, after that we headed to Bear Lake. The next morning we went to the Beach and played on seadoos for four hours. It was so much fun!

Here we are taking a break and having some lunch.

Later that evening we got ready and went to the Pickleville Playhouse for dinner and a show. Our seats weren't the best but we were so entertained. We are telling everyone we know to go there and see " Who shot Juanito Bandito". We laughed and laughed and the dinner was even good too.

Here we are just leaving the house that Sarah and Jake were able to get for us for the weekend.

On the way home we stopped at Minnetonka Cave for a tour.

What a great time we had just the four of us. We stayed up late and played games and Jake gave us a few insights on the Book of Mormon so it felt like we partaked of a little church that Sunday. I love my Husband so much and really look forward to this time away that we get every now and then. It really is an investment in our marriage, we value this time and I know it really strengthens our relationship. We are so lucky to have such amazing parents who take our kids for us, we love you so much!

Free Bowling!

This week we went bowling at All Star Lanes in Sandy. They have a deal where kids can bowl two free games a day in the summer with only paying for shoe rental. We went with my friend Tina and her daughter Avery. We had a great time, Baylee would jump up and down and scream every time she knocked over pins. She was so cute. We were there a couple hours and it turned out to be so fun.

Swimming Adventures!

This is Baylee's first year taking swimming lessons and it's a good thing. She doesn't like getting in the water very much and is pretty scared of it. The top picture shows how scared she was the first day, she wouldn't even relax enough to drop her body down in the water. By the end of the two weeks she was dunking her head and jumping into the water, it was great!

Brynlee is doing so good at swimming, she even has a slight crush on her teacher Steven. At the end of class time they have a few minutes of free time and play a tag game in the water and Brynlee is the shortest one in her class and sometimes can't touch so Steven puts her on his back and helps her play the game, it's so cute!

Wow! This is all I can say, we are fat and white.

Here the family is at camp tracy on the weekend of the 24th celebrating with the White family as we do every year. We talked Baylee into swimming around the pool in floaties and she loved it!

By the end of the day she was jumping off the edge of the pool in the water all by herself and going under the water. I don't know how it happened so fast but she has turned into a fish. Two weeks ago she wouldn't even get into the water. She was the last one out of the pool that day along side of Brynlee.

Brynlee was loving the water and we even had her jumping off of the diving board and swimming to the edge all on her own. I'm so proud of her!

Carson and Connor lived it up in the water and had a great time also! It's so great watching my kids doing things for the first time and having the time of their lives! I even had a good time swimming when I normally just sit on the side and watch! The most memorable moment of the day for me was when I was in the bathroom changing into my swimsuit and grandpa Shumans friend came into the bathroom and dropped his drawers one stall away from me. Yes, I was half naked and trying to get my swimsuit on as quick as possible. I looked out the curtain to see him sitting on a toilet. I was crossing my fingers that he wouldn't drop a load while I was in there so I quickly grabbed my stuff and hurried out of the bathroom. All I can say is, it's a good thing that I wasn't changing out in the open or this old man for sure would have dropped dead from a heart attack. :)

July Fun...

We have been doing lots of fun things this summer starting off with a trip to Classic Skating to play. Brynlee brought her cute friend Ary with us, we have been babysitting Ary this summer and Brynlee really loves having her friend over so much.

We spent the fourth of July doing something a little different. We usually go to the Sandy City Carnival and play for a few hours but this year we decided to do something different and indoors. We went to Incredible Pizza and played all afternoon and ate lots of food. The rest of the day we stuck with tradition and went to the Sandy City Parade and then watched fireworks in our usual spot. Carson was so excited to be on the Jordan Football float this year and squirt everyone with his water gun. Connor was not able to be with us this day because he left that morning for scout camp at Bear Lake for a week. Warren and Baylee are standing on the side of the road at our spot on the parade route.

Here the kids are swimming with their cousins Kate and Miles when we babysat them last weekend. We had such a fun time with them it reminded me of how busy and tired I was when my kids were a little younger.

Other things we have been doing this summer is going to movies, playing at chuck e cheeses, playing & eating at Mcdonalds, going to Real soccer games, swimming and more. What a great time we have been having, hopefully the last month doesn't go by as quickly.

Funny story about this picture, Warren cuts his own hair or should I say shaves off all his hair. One Saturday he was in a hurry to shave off his hair and jump in the shower to get to my brothers birthday dinner. We were about to walk out the door when Warren turned around and I noticed this scary sight of a strip of hair down the back of his head. I laughed so hard and long that Warren was getting mad because I wasn't able to talk to tell him what was left on the back of his head. We were already running late but Warren said there was no way he was leaving the house without finishing the job. So he pulled out the clippers and shaved the rest off. I laughed the entire way to the Restaurant thinking about what would have happened if he went to dinner looking like this.....

Carson had his Birthday party on his actual Birthday June 21st of this week. He had such a good time with his friends at the pool!

Carson is such a good kid! He loves to goof off, loves sugar, loves to hang with friends, loves to mow the lawn, loves to swim, loves football, is really really good at soccer, loves to sleepover at his grandparents, loves BYU, loves to help others, loves money, and so much more! Baylee is Finally Four!!

What a precious baby Baylee was. Despite the crying all the time she was such a sweetie. She was a little high maintenance but we found out after many trips to the doctor that she had acid reflux. Baylee was born on a Tuesday June 5th at 5:47pm, she was 6 pounds 9 ounces and 18 inches long. Knowing that she was my last baby I have enjoyed her to the max! She was early on nick named Sassy because she has always had a bit of attitude in her. She has always been a daddy's girl and probably always will be. Baylee has always been minny as I call her, tiny is an under statement. She may be small but her personality makes up for it for sure!

For the past month now Baylee has been asking me how many more weeks till her Birthday and I've been telling her. She's so cute, she tells everybody no matter how many true days till her Birthday that her Birthday is in two weeks. I've never seen a child so happy to be turning four. She is such a ball of energy, she goes around the house singing and danceing all day. We gave her a hand held Dora radio with a microphone and now we have really created a monster! She loves playing outside, watching Dora the Explorer, Bossing her friends around, sleeping in ( if you wake her up before nine or ten watch out the devil she is), writing her name, doing the splits, having daddy do everything for her ( specially wiping her bum), naming the artist on the radio when we are in the car, never stays in bed at night, scared of the dark, loves going to McDonald's, loves, loves, loves saying the prayer, loves playing with her Babies & her Barbies, and can't wait to start preschool in the fall! Wow, do I love this girl or what! She is so fun and I love are one on one time together while the other kids are in school. I love being her mom and can't wait to see what she does in the next four years of her life. Happy Birthday to my last baby ( which she loves telling everyone that she is my last baby) so cute!

Homer & the Homerettes

Connor's 6th grade class just performed the play " The Hysterical History of the Trojan War". Connor played the part of Homer. He did such a great job, mostly his parts were wrapping and singing with a group of girls. They were called Homer and the Homerettes. Connor is such an energetic and fun kid he has so many friends and by the pictures above yes they are mostly girls! I can't believe that my baby is graduating into middle school. Wasn't I just in middle school? I'm so proud of him and the young man that he is turning out to be!

Connor would die if he knew I was doing this but I had to post this picture of his first girlfriend Peri! She is such a cute girl and they were so funny this year calling each other and meeting at the park. Connor even made it a priority to go to as many of her soccer games as possible.

Carson just finished his U10 year in Sparta. Not a good year in terms of the team he was on but overall Carson keeps improving his skills as a soccer player. He is so fun to watch and is truly talented at this sport. Carson wants to move on to football next but the Sparta coaches have called us and really want Carson to come back to soccer. For sure Carson will play football this fall and maybe he will continue with soccer on the off season we will have to wait and see.

We have been having such a fun time babysitting my niece Rylee this past month. She is such a sweetie and is so loved at our house. We all fight over who gets to hold her!

Memorial Day Weekend....

My sister talked me into going on a run Saturday morning. It was beautiful, we ran along a dirt road that overlooked Bear Lake. It was fun running with someone, she pushed me into running four miles, it felt great!

Connor, Carson, and Kaden mostly spent their time carving sticks with their pocketknives. They spent all three nights out in a tent and even had their tent collapse on them Saturday night due to the couple inches of snow that fell. They dried it out the next day and slept in it again the next night. They are die hards, it was really cold!

So this year we braved the cold and went camping with my Dad and Jana and my sister and her family. We had a great time, despite the cold. We stayed in the St. Charles campground in Idaho on Bear Lake. It definitely was a first for our family to be at Bear Lake and not go swimming. It was coat weather all weekend but we made the best of it.

I have the most amazing husband who is so loving and so thoughtful. I have been thinking alot lately about him and what a treasure he is to me. He teaches me everyday to not sweat the small stuff and to get lost in service. I started to make a list in my head of the past week or two of what my husband has been up to:

1- Fixed a divorced mother of four's sprinkling system
2-Also put air in her riding lawnmowers tires
3-Fixed our friends lawnmower
4- Fixed a family whom he home teaches lawnmower
5- Helped the neighbor move an electric motor scooter for his dad who had a stroke
6- Fixed the neighbors tiller
7- Then took the tiller to the ward service proj. and tilled the other neighbors garden
8- Then fixed a leaky faucet for another divorced mother of two whom he home teaches
9- And he is currently remodeling the bathroom of my first counselor in the primary presidency

This list is nothing unusual around my house, this is our life. I have to remind myself often that when he is gone it's for the good of others. Warren tells me this is who he is and what he is meant to do. I am truly lucky to be his wife. Our family is so blessed because of the never ending service that is rendered by this remarkable man that is my eternal companion for time and all eternity!

Easter

The day before Easter we spent the day at Grandma & Grandpa White's house. We did yard work, stuffed Easter eggs, cooked yummy food, played with cousins, planned our family Disneyland trip, and had a hall of an Easter egg hunt!

Easter morning at are house was early due to church starting at nine am. As you can tell it was not a fun morning with little Ms. Baylee; she cried for an hour and a half before church. We will know better next year and let the princess sleep in. After church we stopped by Nana Cherie's house and then went to Grandpa Riches and Jana's for a Birthday dinner for my Dad. It was a great day spent with family and most importantly remembering our Savior Jesus Christ and his Resurrection!

This month has been more than a little bit rainy but so many special things have happened in our family like the birth of my sweet little niece Rylee! Congrats to my brother Garrett & Holly!

Then Carson took third place in the pinewood derby and also had a very special singing program in school!

Brynlee & Baylee had their spring dance recital and both did a superb job!

April 19th I had my 33rd Birthday! The night before after the girls dance recital a bunch of us went to Wingers to celebrate my birthday. We had a great time. Then on my actual birthday I started the day off with a three mile run, then my friend Sarah and I took our kids to see the movie Hop. Then Warren and I took Brynlee to her second recital to dance and then we dropped her off and headed to the movies. It was a perfect day, spent with all the people I love most!

This week is spring break for my kids and it has rained pretty much every day. We have still braved the cold and headed to the park for a run for me and the skate park for the kids! This sweet picture is Baylee and my nephew George all bundled up for the run. I babysit George on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I think this week has been more fun for him with all the kids being home to spoil him!

14 Year Anniversary!

March 7th was our 14 year Anniversary! We started our celebration on Friday with the kids going to my dad's for the weekend. We had a great time together just hanging out watching movies, going to movies, dinners, cabela's, a baby shower for my soon to be niece, and sleeping in! We usually go out of town but things are tight so we did things around town. It didn't really matter where we were, we just really enjoyed each other. We are so good and our love is stronger today than it was 14 years ago. I have the most amazing husband! I could have never of dreamt to be this lucky. He treats me like a queen and I love the way we laugh together every day! I'm so excited for our future together, things are finally looking up for us. Warren just accepted a job as a superintendent for KNP Construction. We have been so dirt poor the past few months that we have had to get help paying our bills. I know with out a doubt that our Prayers have been answered! I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for his kindness and love for us, the Atonement is real and I am so Humbled.

On Monday the 7th my brother Skyler returned home from his mission. We are so excited for him and proud of the hard work that he has put into his mission. He is such a great example to me and my family and we are excited for his future. Welcome Home Sky, we love you!!

Valentine's Day the kids had the day off of school so Warren and I took them to Pirate Island Pizza in Orem. We had the best time as a family, Warren and I decided that this year we would have valentines day with the kids instead of going out together alone. I'm so glad that we did, the kids were so excited, we didn't tell them where we were going. The drive was full of questions and guesses of where we were headed and when we pulled up to Pirate Island Pizza they were so excited. The past few months have been really hard financially on our family so we were very blessed to scrounge up a little money to do this for the kids.

Connor hit jackpot while we were there!

Connor just finished rec basketball on Saturday, it was quite fun to watch. Connor was on a team with some of his football friends. Connor really improved by the end of the season, he was scoring baskets every game. Connor is so talented I can't wait to see what he does next!

Carson and his grandma Ohma made this cake for the Blue and Gold Banquet on Saturday. He is so proud, he even decorated most of it. Can you tell he loves football? What a cute kid, love his smile!

This past weekend we went to St. George. My Grandma Rawson has been working real hard to get to the Temple and so Saturday we went to The St. George Temple and witnessed a very spiritual event. My Grandma took out her Endowments and was sealed to her parents. Then my grandma was sealed to my grandpa who passed away a few years ago and then my dad and his two sisters were sealed to my grandparents. It was such an amazing day filled with tears and love. I'm so glad that we can be with our Families for Eternity!

We had a fun New Years Eve party at my dads eating yummy food and hanging out with family! I got a wild hair at 6:00 that evening to make chocolate scriptures for all the primary children in my ward. The Theme for the new year is " I know the Scriptures are True" so I found this cute idea and off I went. Thanks to my cute sister-in-law Linsey for helping me, it took us quite a few hours! It was so worth it to see how excited the children were when I gave them the yummy chocolate scriptures.

The kids were more than thrilled with what Santa left for them. Connor’s favorite gift was Halo Reach, Carson & Brynlee’s favorite gift was the IPod Touch, and Baylee just loved everything!

Our family has been so blessed this year, I am truly thankful for all the wonderful blessings that we receive. This has been a busy and hectic year but we have so much to be grateful for. This year in primary the theme has been “I know my Savior lives” and this I truly know with out a doubt. I am so grateful for my membership in his church and for his love for me. It’s so comforting to know that I will be with my family for Eternity. I love them more than I can say. I have the most loving husband and the sweetest children and the best family & friends. Thank you to each of you for touching my life and making me a better person! I hope each of you are filled with the love of Christ this Christmas Season!

This was Baylee’s first dance recital and she loved it! She is in Ballet and she did a cute dance to Frosty the Snowman! She did such a great job, even remembering the entire dance. I thought for sure she would get on stage and just stand there in fear. When it was over she asked if she could do it again.

Then we have our little pro Brynlee. She is in Hip Hop this year and did an excellent job with her routine. She always lights up the stage with those big blue eyes! This year was even better because her cousin Kamille was in her class.

Connor spent last weekend with his grandparents for a fun late birthday weekend. They promised him that for his 12th birthday and all the grandchildren’s 12 birthdays that they would take them to do something special for a weekend. Connor was given a choice to either spend money on a hotel or take the money and buy a gun. Well you can see the choice that he made was to buy a gun. He was so excited to get his very first gun. They bought a scope for it and took it out to the shooting range where Connor broke it in. Everyone was worried for my reaction thinking that it would be bad but honestly I was excited for him. He is a very responsible kid and knows that this gun is not a toy. He had a blast with his grandparents and will always remember this exciting weekend. Thanks Dad & Jana!

Black Friday All-Nighters!

We had a great Thanksgiving this year spent with family and loved ones. We are so blessed! We had a delicious dinner at my mom’s and then played games with my siblings. Then our night really began. For the second year in a row my children asked for things for Christmas that were on the Wal-Mart black Friday ad that I could not pass up. So Warren dropped me off at Wal-Mart at 11:00pm on Thanksgiving night and I went and got in line for the item that we needed. It officially went on sale at 5:00am so we had to stay in line all night. We were the 8th and 9th person in line and they only had 23 total to sale. Warren tucked the kids in bed and then met me in line where we camped out all night. We both had to be there because we needed two of the item. We made lots of friends around us and the time went by rather quickly until we got a call from Connor telling us that Baylee was awake and freaking out for us. So Warren went home to try to put her back to bed but she would not go. So the only thing to do was to bring her to Wal-Mart in the middle of the night to hang out with us. We finally checked out of Wal-Mart around 6:15am and headed home for bed. The things we do for our kids, now that’s true love! I took a 2hr. nap and then headed out shopping with my mom & friend Sarah until 5:00pm. Long 24hrs but the good thing is that my holiday shopping is about done!

The Grand Canyon

While we were in St. George we decided to drive 2 1/2 hrs. to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I had never been there and have always wanted to go. As we were driving and getting closer, you could see the drop offs out the car window and my heart literally sank. I was scared before I even got out of the car. You could say I was the Mommy Nazi that day. I was so freaked out that I kept yelling at my kids if they even veered off the middle of the path. There were only a couple of places that had railing so it was very scary to have kids there. My dad even brought a rope to tie to the kids if needed. Carson was close to getting tied to the rope. Baylee would scream from the stroller if Warren got her too close to the edge. The pictures just don’t do it justice. This place is the coolest place that I have ever been. I loved the majestic beauty of the canyon, it was breathtaking. At one point I walked as close to the edge as I could bare and my legs were shaking so bad I couldn’t snap the picture. If you have never been I totally recommend getting there.

The rocks on the bottom of this picture is what lined the path. So basically that is the only thing keeping you from going over the edge. SCARY!!

Thanks to my dad and Jana for the awesome trip to St. George and all the fun little excursions that we went on. It was fun for the kids to hang out with their grandparents! We ended the day with a drive to Lake Powell and then back home, what a day. We were in the car for about 6-7 hrs that day but it was so worth it! What a beautiful world we live in!

Here we are at Zion's National Park. Beautiful place but Carson and I were very carsick during the ride. The kids loved going through the tunnel’s and yelling to Daddy to honk the horn.

Swimming is always a favorite part of St. George and we did a bit of that. The weather was colder than it has been in the past years but that didn’t stop my little fishes! I ditched on the swimming and went shopping, my favorite thing about St. George.

The boys went golfing a few times! Later to come our pic’s from the Grand Canyon now that place is truly amazing! We had a great time and spent not as much time as we would have liked with the Dutson’s. But thanks, so much for letting us stay at your house. You guys are awesome!!

We had a great time despite the Rain. All the kids looked so cute and had a great time at their grandparents trunk or treat. It was a hoot they told him No that they were too tired. That’s my crazed candy lover husband for ya! Happy Halloween!!

Oct. 9th was the game of all games. In four years of little league football and what are the chances. It finally happened, cousin vs. cousin, sister vs. sister, and even coach vs. coach.

It was so fun to watch my newphew and Connor’s team play each other. Connor and Kaden even went up against each other with a few hits, it was great!

We had so many people there to support the boys and their teams!

Kamille even recruited Baylee into being a Herriman Cheerleader. We let it slide this time, Baylee doesn’t know better.

The game turned out as planned, Jordan stomped on Herriman 26 to 7. It was a pretty friendly rivalary although I did have to tell my team to block my nephew because he kept sacking our quarterback, sorry Kaden.

Oct. 4th my CUTE husband turned 35. I love teasing him that he is now on his way to 40! His age doesn’t affect him as long as he can hUnT the rest of his life. His Birthday is during the best time of the year; the deer hunt. So it’s obvious what he gets each year: time away from us to hunt. This year’s hunt wasn’t as sweet as last years; however, he had a great time with Wes & Mike Dutson!

I LOVE this man more than words can express! He is so good to me and works so hard for our family. I pray going back to school will pay off real soon for him. No one deserves it more. He will GIVE you the shirt off his back if needed. He is AMAZING!! I am so lucky to spend ETERNITY with him! Happy Birthday xoxoxoxo Eryn

Happy 7th Birthday Brynlee!!

Brynlee turned seven on September 28th. Her friend Kemry turned seven ten days before Brynlee. We decided to have a princess party for the both of them. Here they are all dolled up after the party!

The decorations were so fun and cute. We did a pink and Black themed party with zebra accents.

Each girl had a turn getting their hair put up in an updo. Then they had a choice to have pink or silver glitter spray put on. There was also a nail station where they all got manicures.

There was also a bracelet making station and a princess wand station. The girls were very pampered!

We had finger foods for the girls to eat, and these way cute ring cupcakes.

Connor has been asking for a phone for months now. I have always told him No. I don’t know what came over us, but we decided that we would see if he could be responsible with one. He doesn’t get free reign with his phone. We set many rules for him to follow. He is such a good kid, and is doing well in school. We are so proud of him! I love this look on his face, he couldn’t believe he was really getting a phone!

Along with this special Birthday, Connor was ordained a Deacon on Sunday! He was so excited and he looked so sharp in his new Suit! Connor also received his Faith in God Award in Church too. I can’t even express how proud I am as his Mother.

Connor is also doing well in Football! He is so fun to watch. He is playing Free Safety & Center! This first picture is of him in the middle wearing red #8. He is holding the big guy in white from getting through the line!

My little sidekick…

Now that the kids are in school it’s just me and my little sidekick. We have had a lot of firsts this month. It all started with Baylee finally getting a big girl bed! She was so excited she kept saying Thank you mommy and daddy, the entire night. It was so fun to see her excitement, we should have done this a long time ago but I couldn’t quite give up the crib because I was in denial that my baby is a little girl now.

Next, Baylee started Ballet. She is so tiny, in fact I think she is the smallest one in her class. She looked so cute all decked out in her dance clothes. She had so much fun!

And finally, Baylee makes the cutest little running partner! After the kids are off to school we load up in the new jogger stroller that I found on KSL for only $25.00 and head out for a run. Baylee looks forward to this and even has her sunglasses waiting in the stroller everyday. I did have to teach her not to talk to mommy while she’s running because she liked to ask me a hundred questions each time and it made it hard for me to run and talk to her.

We are having such a fun time together, I am eating up all these little moments with her. Before I know it she will be off to Kindergarten and I will be all alone :( I sure do love this spunky little girl, she makes my days so much more brighter!

Summer 2010!!

We have had such a fun summer I can’t believe it’s about to come to an end. In June we went to the park just about everyday. The boys would go to the skate park and the girls and I would go running. ( Bryn on her bike and Bay in the trailer) After a month of that the kids were done with the park. So in July Carson and Brynlee took swimming lessons. Carson is now a swimmer, we are so excited. Brynlee is just about there.

We went to a lot of dollar movies and went on a few day adventures. We went and toured Mrs. Fields Cookies…..

We also went to Incredible Pizza. Let me just say if you haven't gone you should. We had so much fun we spent the whole entire day there. Yes literally from 11:00am when they opened to 10:30pm when they closed. Almost 12 hours there. Connor and Austin even had football so we dropped them off and then brought them back a couple of hours later. The kids had a great time and yes even us parents!

And last but not least we are still going strong with sports. Carson is back playing for Sparta Soccer. We have already had two tournaments and many more over the next year….

It has been a joy spending quality time with my children and our awesome friends the Schaugaard family. My kids look forward to the summer for all these fun adventures and we can’t wait for next year to do it all over again.

P.S. I am soooooo excited for school to start. I am exhausted!!

Daddy Daughter Dance 1989

My Dad sent me this picture last week of us at my Merry Miss Daddy Daughter Dance. This brought back so many memories I just had to share. My dad was the favorite dad of the neighborhood, and he was always doing things for others. I remember how much fun we had at the dance and the best part was when everyone voted us the King and Queen of the Dance. I even got a crown and everything. Close Call.

There’s nothing scarier than driving home from vacation and coming upon a car accident on the freeway and seeing your parents and brother in their car facing the wrong way and up against a cement barricade. We were coming home from Tyson’s Baby Blessing in Parawon and we were about 5-10 min. behind Warren’s parents and brother when the freeway was coming to a stop and flashing lights were in the horizon. As we came to the accident I noticed a blue car just like Warren’s parents the closer we got I started to yell to Warren to slow down that I think it might be his parents. We pulled off to the side and backed up on the freeway to see that it was them. Warren quickly called his mom on the cell phone to see if they were all right because they were still sitting in the car. Warren’s mom was in the process of calling us because she knew we would be driving up to this accident at any moment and didn't want us to be upset. Thank goodness they were all ok except that Brandon was cut up a bit and Warren’s mom was starting to feel the after math in her arm. Some guy hit the side of there car by the gas tank and this sent them spinning across the freeway where a white van then hit them. It could have been real bad, thankfully they all had their seatbelts on. They were very blessed tonight and we are so Grateful that they are ok!

We did have a great time as always at the Bettridge home. It was a beautiful baby blessing and lots of fun spent with family! Here is a too cute picture of my nephew Hunter who dumped a glass of red punch on his head.

We had a great weekend up Millcreek Canyon at the Lodge and swimming pool where Warren’s dad works. We spent the night there and had two days of fun at the pool. We also played on the lake, shot guns, watched movies, rode bikes, ate great food, and most of all had a great time with family!

Soccer-Parade-Boating

So July 17th was such a fun and busy day starting out with Carson playing in his first Sparta Soccer game of the year. It was so fun to watch him, and as soon as his game ended we hopped in the car and drove downtown to be in the days of 47’ Children’s Parade. We made it just in time. The kids had a lot of fun and both of my parents even saw us on T.V. It was a very hot and busy morning and even harder with daddy being gone to school that day. We arrived back home in the afternoon to get a phone call from my brother-in-law Josh inviting us to go boating with them at Rockport Reservoir. Warren was on his way home from school so we jumped at the offer and hurried there to meet them. We had so much fun playing in the water. It was such a fun occasion because Brynlee and Carson knee-boarded for the first time. And Carson being the show off he is even pulled off several 360’s. Baylee was even feeling a little confident watching all the kids and wanted to try to kneeboard too; but once we put her on the board she started to freak out. I was so impressed with her wanting to try I told her what a big girl she was! The bummer of the boating trip was me forgetting my camera in the car so I couldn't take pictures of these fun little moments on the water. We unloaded out of the water around sunset and finished the night off with my sister and her family at in and out, YUM! What a great day, and the best part of it all was watching my kids doing fun things for the FIRST time!!

Herriman 5k Run…

June 27th I ran my second 5k but not with the same success as the first one. I had the flu for two days prior and also the morning of still not good. I knew I had to give it a try anyway but lesson learned don’t run if your body isn’t healthy. I had to walk a lot and my body was telling me to just stop moving. I felt horrible and my body felt even worse. I cried the whole way home because I was so disappointed in my run. Two days prior to the run I met my sister at the route of this 5k run and we ran it together to see how it would go. We both ran it together successfully and had a great time. So I guess this was a good lesson for me to learn that things don’t always go as planned and that I shouldn’t be so hard on myself at least I made it across the finish line.

Brynlee had a great week, she lost two teeth two days in a row. The first night the tooth fairy left her $1.50. The next day Brynlee was very disappointed in what was left for her. Later that day she lost her second tooth and was very excited. So late that night the tooth fairy sneaked into her room only to find this on Bryn lee's pillow..

It was a note that read:

The tooth fairy left Brynlee a two dollar bill and she was very happy to take it even if it wasn't a ten dollar bill! How cute is that I can just picture her in her room working so hard on this note and so excited for the tooth fairy to find it. I love being a Mom!

Carson is NINE !!

Carson turned 9 on June 21st. We had a fun backyard water party with games and our blowup waterslide. The kids had so much fun and Carson loved having his friends over. We also went out to dinner as a family and Carson chose his favorite Restraunt El Matador in Bountiful! We celebrated with my family and this weekend we celebrate with Warren’s family. So Carson is spoiled with lots of little celebrations! Carson is so special to our family here are nine reasons why…. 1) he’s loving 2) he’s helpful 3) he’s so darn cute 4) he’s emotional 5) he’s a go-getter 6) he’s my candy monster 7) he’s very talented at soccer 8) he dreams big 9) he has a sweet spirit! I knew the moment that they laid him in my arms that he would be a great blessing to our family. He teaches me so much everyday and I’m proud to be his mommy! I love you Carsey Lou Lou!

Baylee is Three!!

My sweet, yummy, fiesty, impossible, active, beautiful, adventureous, sassy, ridiculously smart little monkey turned three on June 5th! I continue to call her my baby, yes I’m in total denial. It’s so sad yet rewarding to watch these precious children of mine grow up. She had a great day with family and friends swimming and playing. Warren and I gave her a bike and she received a lot of nice gifts from everyone at her party! I really love the first picture of her because it shows off her wild personality. She is such a joy and a Blessing to our family. As much as Warren and I joke that if she were our first child we would have stopped with her she keeps our family on our toes! I love you Baylee and am so lucky to be your mom!

Warren had a great opportunity last Saturday to baptize and Confirm and also Bless his Cousin Mandy’s two kids! It was such a great day for their family! Warren was so honored to do this for his Cousin and he did such a great job! I am so lucky to have a husband who honors his priesthood and can not only bless the lives of our family but bless the lives of these two sweet children! I know his Aunt Tammy was very pleased!

The school year ended with a bang. Connor is happy to receive a silver medal in 5th grade!

Carson has great friends. Austin and Chris are his closest this year. Here they all are showing off their medals for third grade!

Brynlee had a great Kindergarten year. Her Teacher Mrs. Platt is the best ever! Here is Brynlee and Kemry with Mrs. Platt after their singing concert at the end of the year.

Memorial Weekend in Sunny St. George!!

Our weekend started out with a midnight 5k run that Julie and I did that first night in St. George. It was so much fun, it was our first 5k and hopefully the first of many more(right Julie) he he!

We took the kids swimming, which they loved!!

We went to the movies, rode bikes, played at Pirate Island Pizza, hung out with great friends( Mike & Julie are the best), and had much needed relaxation!

We also visited with grandma Rawson. We had a nice B-Que with her. All in all we wish the weekend never ended, we had a great time with our kids making memories that will last forever!

My new Bathroom…

My Husband is so awesome he spent the whole month of April working his cute little but off, and it turned out so nice! I also need to Thank my amazing Father who spent many, many days at our house helping us with this project! 13 Years and Counting…..

What a great Anniversary Weekend we just had. Today the seventh of March is our 13 year anniversary and we planned a getaway with our great friends Jake and Sarah to Las Vegas! We had a great time shopping, sightseeing, going to shows and just spending time together as couples. The best part of the weekend for me was when Warren took me to Lion King! When I love something I really get emotionally involved and I couldn't help but turn on the water works. It was so amazing that I thought nothing could top Wicked but this one may have done it for me! If you ever get the chance to see it, GO! We almost didn't go but when we got our tickets and they were second row right in the middle it was meant to be.

I do want to say most importantly how absolutely amazing my husband is to me. He treats me so good and will do anything to make me happy. I am more in love with him today than the day we got married and look forward to many years of little moments like the ones we made this weekend.

I can’t believe it but the day has finally come at our house. No more buying diapers! Baylee took interest the first week of February and it’s now official she is a big girl! She loves wearing her “unawares” as she calls them. It’s an exciting time for her but a sad one for me because that’s one more thing that’s making her grow up. I don’t know if I will ever stop calling her my baby! I can’t get enough of my sweet girl, she’s at that age where everything she says is hilarious. I love being her mom!

I couldn’t help but blog about how fast things seem to be going right now. I sometimes find myself just staring at my kids in awe and can’t believe where I am. Just yesterday it seemed that I was in High School daydreaming about being a mother someday and well here I am. My baby or should I say little girl she will be three this summer is not my baby anymore. As difficult as she can be at times I just laugh and stare at her in amazement. I want time to rewind not because I have regrets but because I want my kids to stay kids. Everyday seems to be shorter and I can’t help but think did I do my best that day. All I know is that I love being the mother to my four beautiful kids and hope that one day they will look back and say my mom was the best!

Bargain Hunting At It’s Finest!

I took my annual winter shopping trip yesterday in Park City where the deals were as good as always. Every January I bargain hunt for my children’s winter clothes for the next winter season. This year was awesome as always and I thought I would share it with all of you. This is the only way I can afford to put my kids in name brand clothing that’s well-made. So here it goes I bought 49 pieces of clothing for a grand total of $298.83 for four children. Had I paid full price for these items it would have cost me $934.31. I also bought warren a church shirt, my nephew a zip hoodie and Baylee slippers for Easter and that was all included in that total. My favorite purchases were a pink fur trimmed coat for Brynlee from the Gap regular price $59.99 and I paid $20.21 for it. I also got Connor a nice coat from old navy that was regularly priced at $45.99 and I paid $11.49 . I bought Baylee 6 pairs of pants that were between 20-30 dollars each and I got them for $6.49 each. I am beyond excited about all my deals this is one of my favorite things to do every year. Wow, you don’t realize how big you were until you lose weight and look back at pictures. I set a goal this year to lose weight. I decided that it was time after having four babies and eating a lot of junk! The top picture is of me in January of this year. The bottom picture is me this December 22lbs lighter! I’m so proud of myself for this accomplishment. I am now addicted to working out and hate to miss a workout. I am by all means not a size 2 but the real thing that matters is how I feel about myself; and boy do I feel great!

Baylee's Day Out!

Here is Baylee at her speech appointments. For about 6 months now I have taken Baylee to private speech therapy. There was a slight delay with her speech at her 18month appointment and so I decided to be proactive and get her some therapy rather than wait and see if she later needed it. I have been through so much with Carson's Communication Disorder which he was diagnosed with when he was three, I'm a bit paranoid. Baylee loves her therapist, Allison. She is great, Baylee looks forward to seeing her every other week.

Warren has never been happier! He finally shot something! Every weekend this month he has been gone hunting. First the Elk Hunt and then the deer hunt. And Last night was the night he had longed for, he left the house at 3:30 and headed up Bountiful Canyon and by 5:15 he had shot this nice looking 4 point. Warren quickly called our brother-in-law Josh who hurried to Bountiful to help Warren drag his deer off the mountain. They arrived back at the truck around 10:00pm. Warren said there was no way he could have done that by himself. Warren arrived home some where around 11:00 excited and exhausted. I was not only happy for him but happy for me not being a deer hunters widow any longer! Now we wait for our deer to be made into Jerky, Yum!

We are back to our busy fall schedule of football overload. Every Saturday we go to three football games; Connor & Carson and their cousin Kaden who plays for Riverton.
We love it, it's the only way to spend a cold fall day!

September 28th we celebrated Brynlee's 6th Birthday! She had a great day, here she is showing off her new cowgirl boots.

In September we also had the dreaded Pinewood derby. Warren dreads this time of year because it's usually a competition between the dads. This year Warren let our boys cut out their cars and even paint them they turned out great!

September 17th we celebrated Connor's 11th birthday! Yes, I know you are thinking how does Eryn have an 11 year old child. I'm asking myself that same question. I can't believe how fast he's grown up. He asked for a guitar and so we surprised him with one. He can't wait to learn to play it, my brothers Skyler and Colton started to teach him before they left on their missions.

September 16th we said farewell to my brothers! They left to the M.T. C. after a nice family gathering at Village Inn. They were so excited! We are so proud!

Where has the time gone. I can't believe that my little girl is going to school now. She had her first day on September 3rd. She loves school and her teacher. Her teacher was so impressed with her reading and writing. She told me that she is definitely above her grade average but that she will still do well learning lots of things.

I love this picture. These two girls have literally been through everything together. They are only ten days apart and Sarah and I have raised them side by side. They are such good friends I hope their friendship lasts forever. How lucky for them they are in the same class.

A couple weeks ago we went up to Tanners Flat for a fun evening with the scouts. Connor received so many awards I can't remember them all. He earned his arrow of light and his 20 pinner for weblos which means he earned everything in the book. I am so proud of him.

Carson just became a cub scout in June and so this night he received his Bobcat award. Way to go Carson!

We started out our eight day trip in the Rochester area. The first day we drove about 40 min. to Niagra Falls. How spectacular, it was amazing! We rode the maid of the mist boat into the falls it was awesome!

A home where the first Book of Mormon was handed out and where the first meetings were held when the church was first organized. Also where Brigham Young first bore his Testimony. This is not an official church site,we were lucky enough to have a member of the seventy take us on a tour of this home which he had previously owned at one time. He hopes that one day the church will buy this home.

Carson's Baptism!

Saturday, June 11th was Carson's Baptism. What a special day it was for him and everyone who was there to share it with us. I am so proud of Carson for choosing to be baptized. What a cute kid he is and full of personality. It was also exciting to have Warren Baptize Carson, he did a great job! After the Baptism we all came back for a luncheon and we put up our blowup water slide for the kids to enjoy. As you can see from the last pictures the girls were beat.

Last weekend we had a family cub scout campout at Willow Park. Carson was welcomed in as the newest scout and he was thrilled. It was a fun evening despite the mosquito's. We ate dinner, awards were given, the kids played and the adults visited. There was a little drama at the beginning of the evening when Warren realized as he was about to set up our tent that the poles to the tent were up at East Fork of the Bear with the Boy Scouts where he was a day earlier. We were lucky enough to borrow two tents from our Cub Master, Bernice. She definitely saved the day. I thought maybe we were going to luck out and head home to our nice cozy beds. Warren was going to have none of that he was already on the phone with his mom asking her to bring us a tent. Everything worked out except for our sweet, sassy baby who kept us up all night. She is the reason why I don't look forward to camping. The next day I took a 4 hr. nap and I'm not a napper. She wears me out!!

What an exciting day we had on Wednesday. My brother and step-brother both received their mission calls. My brother Skyler in the last picture is going to Tegucigalpa, Honduras Spanish speaking mission. My step-brother Colton in the middle picture is going to Mesa, Arizona. They both go to the M.T.C. on September 16th. We had such an exciting night we met at my mom's at 6:30 to watch my brother open his call and then at 8:30 we drove to Farr West to my dad's to watch my step-brother open his call. We are so impressed with these two young men for setting such a great example for all of us and especially for my two boys. I am such a proud sister today!!

Monday June 8th was Grandma White's 85th Birthday! I took the kids to surprise her on her birthday with balloons and cake. She was so excited! We had a good time visiting with her and I realized how long it had been since I took the kids to see her. I need to do better I want my kids to know all their grandparents and have long lasting memories of them. We love Grandma White and of course she showered us with lot's of kisses!

My baby is two, I seriously want to cry! June 5th was Baylee's second Birthday. She loves Dora the Explorer, so we did Dora cupcakes and Dora Balloons. Baylee got a lot of neat gifts for her Birthday but her favorite of them all was the swing we gave her. She begs everyday all day to go out side and swing on her new swing! The whole time she's swinging she says higher mommy higher. She's still our little runt. I think it's hilarious when I take her to the store everyone says under their breaths look at that little mini girl. She's still of course our sassy, wild, cute little ball of sweetness. I just can't get enough of her!

Brynlee's Preschool Graduation!!

Brynlee just graduated from Jordan High School's Kinderbeet Preschool Program. This was her second year there and she loved every minute of it. She is anxiously awaiting for Kindergarten to start and little does she know it will be a few months. She is so smart and loves to write letters to her family and friends. She is such a cutie in her cap and gown we had a wonderful evening with grandparents and uncles there to support her at her graduation!

Spring Soccer!

Kemry, Brynlee, and Maycee played their first year of soccer together. I think for the most part they all had a good time.

Brynlee scored three goals her first game and tries hard every game to come close to that accomplishment. She is one of the shortest and so she sometimes ends up in the back of the pack but with a pep talk from me last game she really stepped it up. I told her when she's next to the ball to kick kick run run and it was amazing to watch her not hesitate and she was actually taking the ball and running down field with it.

Then we have Connor who excels at every sport he plays. Every team he is on we have parents telling us what a great athlete he is. He played soccer on a team that had a few of his football friends on it, it's a fun way for him to stay in shape for football. He can play any position and this season he played goalie quite a bit.

Then we have Carson who just finished his year long season playing soccer for Sparta! Boy, has he come a long way. With all of the training he has learned so much. We had so much fun watching his team play. It's so much different from watching Connor's team play. Sparta they train them so intensely. These boys dribble and pass back and forth down the field it's way more advanced then playing for sandy city. It also costs hundreds of more dollars but is so worth it. Carson's coach wanted him to continue playing with Sparta but Carson has decided to give football a try in the fall.
